Sock School Begins August 7

Have you always wanted to knit socks but weren’t sure where to start?

Melissa’s Sock School begins Thursday, August 7, and is designed for knitters ready to learn the fundamentals of sock knitting. You’ll leave with the confidence and skills to create socks you’ll actually want to wear!

Even better…once you’ve mastered the basics, we’ll be offering a Colorwork Sock School later this year!

First Annual Meet the Makers Craft Show

Saturday, August 22, 12:30–4:30 PM

This is one event I couldn’t be more excited about!

Our first-ever Meet the Makers Craft Show will feature talented local artisans, handmade goods, shopping, giveaways, and plenty of inspiration.

The first guests through the door will receive a special event tote bag, and visitors who stop by every maker will have the opportunity to enter our raffle drawing.

Bring a friend, explore handmade creativity, and spend the afternoon supporting local makers.

I truly hope this becomes an annual tradition for our fiber arts community.

A Very Big Announcement…

I’ve been quietly working on something that’s been a dream of mine for a long time.

Soon, Growing Up Lulu Fiber Arts will be introducing Meadowlands—our very own line of hand-dyed yarn.

Each colorway will be thoughtfully created with inspiration from the prairie, nature, and the places that feel like home.

I can’t wait to share it with all of you.
